There was certainly a reason why it was cloudy yesterday as a special bit of sunshine left us. Each person who was privileged to be part of her life will feel the void but also celebrate the fact that she is not suffering. Doris always had a smile and a welcome. I can never think of her as just Doris but more 'Doris and Dorothy' as she and 'Sister' were almost aways together. Doris may have been 90 but certainly didn't look or act it. She always wore the most beautiful, fashionable clothes and shoes and loved God, life, her family, and her church. She thought young and lived young and I, as will we all, shall miss her and her smiling, 'Hello, Cuz'

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Means was a very kind person. She babysat for my cousin Van Tyson and I one weekend many many years ago. I will never forget it because she cooked homemade mashed potatoes for us and we'd never had them homemade before. I think we asked for it every meal. Mrs. Means was a wonderful lady and I know she will be missed. ~Lauren Lantz

Dear Karen, Mike and Family, Words cannot express our sadness for your loss. It was so much joy and what a pleasure to have known and spent time with your Mom. The epitamy of a lady and yes truely an angel. My father said to me that if we could not cry together, we could not laugh together so we will shed tears together but also help you celebrate her life and all the contibutions she added to each and every person whose life she touched. Our prayers are with all of you Your Loving Friends, Chris and Nell Alford
